These terms and conditions set out the basis on which you can use our website and place orders for items from the Next Directory. By ordering goods from Next Directory you are deemed to have understood and accepted these terms. The supplier of the goods featured is Next Directory, a trading name of Next Retail Limited and part of Next Group Plc, ("Next", "we", or "us"). Unless stated otherwise, all calls to Next cost 5 pence per minute from a BT landline, Mobile Providers and other Networks may vary.

A Next Directory Flexible Account ("Next Account") may be opened for you and you will be charged £3.75 for your first and each subsequent Next Directory.
The Next Directory will be sent to you twice a season while you remain an active customer of Next Directory. You may cancel the next issue by contacting Next Directory.
To open a Next Account you must be over 18 and a UK resident.
You understand that a Next Directory Card may be issued to you to allow you to use your Next Account in store to purchase items.
Purchases from the Next Directory will be charged 10 days after the goods are despatched to you and transactions in store and purchases of Gift Cards/Vouchers, Flowers, wine, photographs and Photo Art will be charged to your Next Account normally within 1 day of purchase.
When you apply to open a Next Account, a Credit Agreement will be sent to you and you must read this carefully, sign both copies and return one copy to us.
Next reserves the right to withhold all orders until it receives a signed Credit Agreement from you.
To open an Account for you, we will make searches about you at credit reference agencies who will supply us with credit information, as well as information from the Electoral Register. The agencies will record details of the search, whether or not credit is granted. We may use credit scoring methods to assess your application and to verify your identity.
To prevent identity fraud you may be required to confirm your identity when placing your first order on your Next Account. A £3.00 part payment may be requested using a Credit or Debit Card registered to the account holder's address. The rest of the order will be invoiced at a later date.
Credit searches and other information which is provided to us and/or the credit reference agencies, about you and those with whom you are linked financially, may be used by Next and other companies if credit decisions are made about you or other members of your household.
This information may also be used for debt tracing and the prevention of money laundering as well as the management of your account.
Information held about you by the credit reference agencies may already be linked to records relating to people with whom you are linked financially. For the purposes of credit searching you may be treated as financially linked and you will reassess with reference to any "associated" records.
If we enter into a credit agreement with you, we will also supply details of your agreement with us to the credit reference agencies, as well ongoing details of your account and how you manage it.
If you do not repay on time, or in full, we will advise the credit reference agencies who will record details of the debt.
All this information will be seen by other organisations carrying out later searches. The credit reference agencies may also use the records for statistical analysis about credit, insurance and fraud.
You have the right of access to your personal records held by credit reference agencies and we will supply their names and address upon request to the Data Protection Manager, Next Directory, Desford Road, Enderby, Leicester, LE19 4AT or via dataprotection@next.co.uk.
We may make periodic searches of group records and credit reference agencies to manage your Next Account, to take decisions regarding credit, including whether to make credit available or to continue or to extend existing credit. These searches will not be available to other lenders for credit assessment purposes. We may also use your information, including shopping habits, to open and run your Next Account including payment recovery, fraud prevention and debt tracing and for our marketing.
Some of the information you provide may be transferred outside the European Economic Area for processing. However, strict rules regarding the confidentiality of security of your information are in place to safeguard it.
Next reserves the right to alter or amend credit charges, to withdraw credit, to accept or reject orders, to refuse applications, or with prior notice, to close an account.
A contract is formed between Next and you when we despatch the goods you have ordered. Until the goods are despatched, the order may be cancelled. Exceptions apply to personalised items and goods made to your order, which cannot be cancelled once you have received email confirmation that your order has been accepted. For a list of exceptions please see Returns below. For security reasons, until you have received your first statement and a payment has been received you will be unable to order Gift Cards/ vouchers, ask for delivery to a store or to an alternative address.
Our delivery charge to mainland UK is just £3.95 no matter how large your order, with the following exceptions: Fresh Flowers £3.95 per bouquet, wine £3.95 per box, prescription glasses £3.95 per pair, personalised picture gifts £3.95 per item, gift vouchers £1.50 per delivery, large domestic appliances £19.99 per item, digital photos £1.50 per order and photo gifts up to £7.50 per order, charges will be detailed at point of order. Delivery on a Saturday is charged at £4.20.
The following charges apply for delivery of selected large Home items outside mainland UK: Northern Ireland £15, Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Scilly Isles £30 and Scottish Islands £55. For delivery outside the UK, other than to BFPO addresses, please see the terms and conditions specific to the country in which you are resident.
We do not deliver fresh flowers or wine outside mainland UK, this includes to BFPO addresses.
The next day delivery service applies on orders placed before 5pm Sunday - Friday. Orders placed on Saturday will be delivered on Monday. The next day delivery service is only available in our personal courier areas and is subject to stock availability and demand. When the personal courier service is not available, Next will deliver by an alternative carrier and this may take longer. Digital photos and photo gifts, larger items such as furniture and more valuable items are excluded from the personal courier and next day delivery service. Delivery times cannot be guaranteed. Next Day Delivery is not available during Sale periods. Specific delivery details will be confirmed at the time you order.
Most fresh flower orders placed before 5pm can be delivered the next day. Flowers ordered between 5pm Friday and noon on Saturday will be delivered Monday and orders after noon on Saturday and 5pm Monday will be delivered Tuesday. No deliveries are made on Bank Holidays or the day following a Bank Holiday. Delivery times cannot be guaranteed. You will be advised of delivery availability at the time of order.
Free Delivery and other offer order codes remain the property of Next Directory, are non-transferable and may not be reproduced in any form or used in conjunction with any other offer.
Delivery to stores is free. This service is available in over 400 Next Stores but is not available until you have received your first statement and you have made a subsequent payment, for made to order items, digital photos and photo gifts, flowers or selected large/bulky items.
Please take two forms of personal identification e.g. driving license or utility bill and either your Directory Card, statement, delivery note or letter accompanying your Directory.
Fresh flower cancellations and changes are possible up to 48 hours prior to delivery (see also return of selected items below).
You may return any item free of charge within 10 days of receipt, in a new and unused condition. If you return items after this time we may refund only the current or last selling price of the item to your Next Account. Returned items which are not in new or unused condition or which are returned after the approval period may not be credited to your account unless they are faulty. If you return the whole order we will not refund the delivery charge of £3.95 as this part of our service to you has been completed.
We are unable to accept the return of large bulky items, domestic appliances or the copy of the Next Directory through our stores. We cannot accept any returns through our airport stores. A non-refundable collection charge of £30.00 will be applied to selected furniture items if delivery is refused or collection is requested unless the product is faulty or does not fit the description given. No refunds or exchanges can be given on items made to your specification, such as sofas, digital photos and photo gifts and made to measure curtains, unless there is a manufacturing defect or the goods are not as ordered. For hygiene reasons certain jewellery items, cosmetics and grooming products, mattresses, divans, duvets and pillows cannot be returned if unwrapped unless faulty. Self assembly furniture cannot be returned if assembly is part or fully completed unless the item is faulty. Perishable items such as food, drinks and fresh flowers cannot be returned unless found to be faulty. Where a product has a security seal, a refund or exchange will not be given if the seal is broken. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Gift cards/vouchers cannot be returned or exchanged for cash.
Because each upholstery item is made to your specific order, a non refundable deposit of 10% of the total value of the order will be charged to your account 10 days after the date of your order.
To make a return by courier, contact your courier direct (they will leave a number with the delivery), or call 0844 844 8000, or contact us via SelfServe, or online to arrange for your courier to collect the items from your home. Items left for the courier to collect are left at your own risk.
To return by post call 0844 477 4874 to request a returns label, then take to your nearest post office.
This service is available in all Next stores except our airport stores and is free of charge. If you are returning an item via a store, please take your delivery note with you. For details of your nearest store please call 0844 844 8939 or log on to www.next.co.uk/storesearch.asp. Certain items cannot be returned to stores, as detailed above.
Returns are charged at £2.50 unless you are returning to the store. (If you return the whole order, we will retain the delivery charge of £3.95). Simply call 0844 844 8000 to arrange for your courier to collect the items from your home. Items left for the courier to collect are at your own risk. To return by post contact 0844 477 4874 and we will send you a pre-paid label. Any charges will be deducted from your credit/debit card prior to any refund.
Next Directory Flexible Account allows you to spread the cost (subject to status & approval) APR 26.49% (variable).
We accept all major credit and debit cards. The card must be registered to the address where your Next Account is held.
We are unable to accept Cards that are due to expire within the next 5 days. Card details are checked and verified by a third party and goods are despatched once authorisation has been obtained.

Next's liability to you in respect of your order (including in respect of delayed, corrupted, damaged and lost orders) is limited to the value of the order. If the images you submit are of value, or you are using the service for business purposes, such that, in the event your images were damaged, destroyed or lost, your loss would exceed that amount, you should take out the appropriate insurance at your responsibility. We recommend that before submitting digital images to us you retain a copy for yourself to use in the unlikely event of your images being lost or corrupted. In particular, whilst the web album service is intended to provide a convenient way of grouping your images and sharing them with others, it is not intended as stand alone depository for your images and you should not rely on it as such. You should always retain your own copies of all images uploaded.
All prints will be delivered to the delivery address supplied by you during the registration process. Your order will be accepted upon Next notifying you by email that your order has been accepted and has agreed to supply the prints, greetings cards and/or photo gifts to you.
Orders may be refused without explanation and entirely at the discretion of Next.
You hereby consent to the Next photo printing services commencing immediately and as such you will not have a right to cancel your order. However, in the event that you are unhappy with any aspect of our online print services, you will be entitled to send the prints back to Next within 28 days of receipt whereupon Next will provide a full refund of the purchase price. Due to the personalised nature of photo gifts and greetings cards, we are unable to offer refunds on these items, except where we are required to do so by law. You warrant that you will not use any of the photo printing services for any fraudulent or illegal purpose and that you will not submit any image that:
(a) is unlawful, pornographic, indecent, defamatory, offensive, obscene, otherwise objectionable or harmful to (or which depicts harming) children in any way; or
(b) would constitute, assist or encourage a criminal offence, violate the rights of any party, or that would otherwise create liability or violate any local, state, national, or international law; or
(c) infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other intellectual or proprietary right of any party; or
(d) Use the service to transmit or invite access to any images described in paragraphs (a) through (c) above.
and you accept and undertake that you will be liable for any action taken against Next in relation to such activities and will fully indemnify Next against all actions, claims, demands or costs which may arise as a result.
Next reserves the right to decline to print or return any image.
You warrant that you are the owner of the copyright in any material that you send to us for reproduction.
Without prejudice to the first paragraph of the Digital Photos and photo gifts section, (general liability statement) above, Next's liability to you shall be limited to the sum of £50 for any one incident or series of related incidents and up to a total of £100 for all incidents in any period of twelve months.
Without prejudice to the first paragraph of the Digital Photos and photo gifts section (general liability statement) above, Next shall not be liable for any economic loss, profits or anticipated savings, any loss of goodwill and reputation or any loss of data or any consequential loss as a result of breach of contract and/or negligence.

The prices quoted are those ruling at the time of production. Due to circumstances beyond our control, prices may have to be altered up or down, including any alterations to the rate of value added tax. The correct price will be shown on your delivery note. If for this, or any other reason, an item is not acceptable, it may be returned providing it is sent back within ten days and is in new condition. Certain products cannot be returned. See Returns section above, for details. All prices shown are cash prices in sterling. We reserve the right to alter or amend the credit charges, to withdraw credit, to accept or reject orders, to request part payment, to refuse applications or with prior written notice to close an account. Prices of goods displayed in and ordered through the Directory may differ from prices in store.
If you fail to make the minimum payment by the date specified in your statement you will be charged an administration fee of £1 which will be added to your next statement.
If you fail to clear the minimum payment balance on any subsequent statement by the date specified, you will be charged an additional administration fee of £5 which will be added to your next statement.
If a cheque is dishonoured or your Direct Debit payment is not made on time you will be charged £5.50.
If your account is transferred to a debt collection agency then an administration charge of £10 will be added to the balance owing to your account on transfer.
All products are sold on the basis that they are suitable for domestic use only. Please contact us for further information if you intend using any products in a business or public environment.
All orders for products are subject to availability. In the event of seasonal supply difficulties of fresh flowers we reserve the right to substitute flowers and packaging of equal quality and value. For the champagne sent with fresh flowers, vintages and labels may vary from those shown.
Next designers and Next Flowers take great care with the colours used in the collections and all bouquets. The limitations of colour reproduction and the individual colour settings of your screen may mean a slight variation. Every reasonable care has been taken to ensure that the descriptions are accurate. However, specifications may change.
The service is restricted to Next Directory flexible account holders only and will only apply to purchases of products which Next has agreed can be paid for over 26 or 52 weeks.
For each week of your agreement (26 or 52 weeks), Next will charge to your flexible account the weekly payment due. You will receive your statement as normal each month and in order to benefit from the interest free credit offered under this arrangement, you simply need to make the weekly repayments for your purchase that have become due in the previous month. These payments are required in addition to the minimum monthly payment required on any other purchases you have made on your flexible account in the usual way. Simply make the total repayment by the date stated and you will not be charged interest for your weekly priced item.
If you do not make the minimum payment required that month for your interest free items, the unpaid amounts will remain on your account and interest will then be applied to the outstanding balance at the normal rate of 26.49%. A new required payment will be shown on your subsequent statement and you will need to make at least this repayment by the date specified to avoid further action being taken and additional charges accruing to your account.
Payments made to your account will be first credited to the purchase of your weekly priced item and then to any other balance on your account, in the order specified in the terms and conditions of your existing flexible account.
If you wish to pay weekly you may do so.
Should you default on any payment for two consecutive months, Next reserves its right to terminate your ability to take advantage of the interest free option and the full balance outstanding for the item(s) will be added to your account. If such action is taken, Next will withdraw the opportunity for you to delay payment as described above. This means you will be charged interest on the total outstanding balance. Next also reserves the right to refuse further orders on your account if you default on any payment.

Next reserves the right to not print any image which it considers unsuitable or which may cause offence.

Please check your measurements using our measuring guides to ensure that the correct sizes are ordered. All products are to fit the measurements you have provided and are made to order and orders cannot therefore be cancelled or altered once the order has been placed.
WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT A FREE FABRIC SAMPLE IS ORDERED TO ENSURE THE COLOUR AND TEXTURE ARE TO YOUR LIKING as computer monitors vary greatly in colour and shade representation and are not an exact representation of the product.
As all items are made to order, cancellation is not possible once the order has been placed. This is due to the products' bespoke nature.
We aim to despatch all items within 7 working days of the order being placed. We will email you when your products are despatched. Delivery is by courier at a cost of £3.95 per order. Delivery is usually during business hours. For certain areas such as Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and Islands, Isle of Man and the Channel Islands, delivery will take an extra day. Delivery times cannot be guaranteed.
Products are all made to order so can only be returned if faulty, or not made to the specification given. If you wish to arrange for goods to be returned, please contact customer services on 0844 844 8600. If the products are is considered faulty by Next we will at our discretion either rectify the problem or offer a full refund and you will incur no return postage costs. If the returned goods are found not to be faulty a fee for carriage will be charged at £9.95 per order (to include collection and re-delivery) and the goods will be returned to you with no credit being made to your account or refund given.
All products are subject to availability. Availability is usually advised when placing an order but if this is not possible we will advise of any delay as soon as possible.
All products are sold on the basis that they are suitable for domestic use only. Please contact us for further information if you intend using any products in a business or public environment.

The prices payable for the items that you order are clearly set out in the web site and brochure. This is the highest price you pay, exclusive of delivery charges. The prices of these items may be reduced since going to press and you should check the website to find out the price that applies to the product of your choice. All prices are expressed inclusive of VAT payable unless otherwise stated. The price of the items does not include the delivery charge. The delivery charge is £19.99 per delivery.
If for any reason beyond our reasonable control, we are unable to supply a particular item, we will notify you as soon as possible.
There will be no contract of any kind between you and us until payment for your goods is authorised by your Next account. At any point up until then, we may decline to supply the goods to you without giving any reason. At the moment that payment for the goods is authorised, a contract will be made between you and us. Authority for payment must be given at the time of the order. Payment for your order will be taken once stock availability has been confirmed. If for any reason the goods can not be supplied then payment will be refunded in full.
Delivery will be made to the address specified by you. Please note that our standard delivery of products is within mainland UK only (excluding Northern Ireland). All deliveries will be made to you by our courier. We do our best to secure delivery within 3-7 working days of the date of your order. If you order and specify items with different delivery dates, we will ship them separately and you will be charged a delivery charge each time. The cost for delivery is £19.99 regardless of the number of items delivered, on a particular date. If you are not at home for a pre-arranged delivery then we reserve the right to charge you a further £19.99 to redeliver your order. If you wish to change the delivery date once it is agreed then please give us no less than 48 hours notice prior to delivery.
You can request that our delivery team connect your freestanding washing machine, washer dryer or dishwasher. This must be done at the point of order and a charge* will be made for each item. Connection can be carried out to an existing standard domestic appliance water connection situated within one metre of the appliances location and to a suitable existing 13 amp socket within reach of the appliance's power lead. Included in the connection will be the removal of transit brackets and a test of the appliance.
The delivery team will be unable to connect you a new appliance if:

You can request that our delivery team dispose of your old appliance. This must be done at the point of order and a charge of £13.00 will be made for the collection of each item. All goods for removal and disposal must be disconnected from all water, electrical and gas supply in advance of the goods being removed. Refrigeration equipment cannot be removed, please contact your local authority. Once collected this item cannot be returned under any circumstances.
If you wish to cancel your order we ask that you advise us at least 48 hours before your planned delivery date and you will receive a full refund. Where the goods have been delivered to you, you may return them for up to 7 working days from the date of delivery. We reserve the right to charge you to collect the goods and to charge you for any damage that may have occurred whilst the goods have been in your possession, if necessary. No goods can be returned to store for a refund - All Cancellations must be processed via Next Domestic Appliance helpline. For further information and charges please see next section. This does not affect your legal rights.
If goods are faulty, or misdescribed, following confirmation by the manufacturer (this will require a telephone call or home visit by a manufacturer or registered engineer) you may return the product free of charge by calling 0844 844 8907. A full refund will be made back to your Next Directory account.
If for any other reason you decide to return the product within 7 days of receiving the delivery please call the Next Domestic Appliance helpline 0844 844 8907 and we will arrange a pick up within 5-7 days if the products are unused and unconnected. There is a charge for this collection of £49.99 this charge reflects the actual cost of collection. Under the terms of Distance Selling Directive, you as the customer have a duty to care for the product while it is in your possession. If the products are damaged, a charge will be made to repair the product to its original condition. Please be aware that where a repair is not economically viable, no refund will be made. Next Domestic Appliances cannot be returned to any Next stores.

THESE CONDITIONS ARE A VARIATION OF THE TERMS & CONDITIONS THAT APPLY TO ALL SALES BY NEXT DIRECTORY
In these terms and conditions ("the Conditions") the following terms shall have the following meaning:
All terms of the Contract between the Customer and the Company are contained in these Conditions. No representations or warranties are made or given by or on behalf of the Company save as appear herein. No variation or addition to the Contract shall have effect unless agreed in writing and signed by a Director of the Company and a fully authorised representative of the Customer. No alleged oral agreement will be accepted.
Following the order of the Goods made by the Customer and written confirmation of the order has been issued by the Company, the Customer shall not be permitted to make any alterations to the order.
The Company will use its reasonable endeavours to deliver the Goods at a time convenient to the Customer but for the avoidance of doubt normally during the hours of 8 am and 5 pm only. Dates and approximate times will be advised by the Company. If the Customer fails to take delivery on an agreed date and time the Company reserves the right to postpone the delivery by a reasonable period in which case the Company will advise the Customer of an alternative date and time.
If at the time of delivery the Company is unable to supply any of the Goods the Company will offer the Customer an alternative with any appropriate adjustment in the Price. If the alternative is not acceptable to the Customer the Company will at its entire discretion allow a deduction in the cost of such Goods from the overall Price to the Company.
The Customer must provide the Company in writing all necessary technical details including without limitation appliance dimensions, to enable the Company to incorporate the appliance dimensions into the manufacture of the Goods. The Company is not responsible for the suitability, condition or performance of such appliances nor shall the Company be liable for any costs, expenses or losses suffered by the Customer in the event that appliance dimensions or technical information provided by the Customer are inaccurate in any respect.
If a kitchen frame is specified, a frame will be supplied. A kitchen frame is usually 100mm deep and does not include sides, floor or shelves.
The Company continually seeks to improve its products and reserves the right to alter, delete or add any item, colour, size, finish, component or service from its range without prior notice. Every effort will be made to match the Goods with goods provided under previous order(s) but the Company is unable to give any guarantee that the colour size finish or component will match.
The Company shall not be liable to the Customer under the Contract in any way whatsoever for destruction, damage, delay or inability to carry out its business arising out of war or civil commotion, strikes, lockout and industrial disputes, failure of utility service or transport network, fire, storm, explosion, floods or bad weather, breakdown of machinery or plant, malicious damage, compliance with any law governmental order rule direction or regulation or any act of God or default of suppliers or sub-contractors. The Company shall further be under no liability to the Customer for any circumstances beyond the Company's control.
The Company may assign the Contract or any part of it to any person, firm or company but the Customer shall not be entitled to assign the Contract.
The formation, existence, construction, performance, validity and all aspects of the Contract shall be governed by English law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
All HOUSE SIGNS will be delivered within 10 working days of you receiving confirmation of your order.
You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you. Once goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for them.
We reserve the right to charge any delivery costs from the customer, if an item is returned to us due to failed delivery after delivery arrangements have been communicated to you.
We will not refund goods that are delayed in transit due to any reason, including industrial action by third parties.
If the goods we deliver are damaged or defective you must phone us on 0844 844 8999 with full details of the problem, within 10 working days of the delivery of the goods in question.
If you do not receive goods ordered by you within 30 days of the date on which you received confirmation of your order, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us in writing at specify address including email address of the problem within 40 days of the date on which you ordered the goods.

Delivery costs are detailed on the website. Any additional costs will be notified to you by email at the time of order, or if the order is by telephone then any additional delivery costs will be advised of at the time the order is made.
All packages are sent via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery, all goods will require a signature upon delivery.

You must return items which are faulty, do not fit their description, or do not meet with your instructions, within 10 days in a new and unused condition. If your order is damaged in anyway once you receive it, please phone us straight away and DO NOT attempt to fit the HOUSE SIGN, we will replace the damaged goods.
All of our products carry a 12 month warranty.
We reserve the right to inspect claims under the above warranty prior to any settlement being authorised.
When purchasing a HOUSE SIGN the buyer agrees that the product is a bespoke product, made to the exact design, spelling and punctuation and will not be changed once confirmation of order has been sent. If the company finds inappropriate content or any copyright infringement we reserve the right to refuse production.
The colour of goods may vary slightly from that shown on the website due to limitations of browser software and monitors.
Also colour variations are likely to occur due to the nature of natural raw materials used.
Irregular shaped plaques may vary slightly from the samples shown. All measurements are metric.
We hope that you will be pleased with your purchase. However, should you wish to return your order in full, we will be happy to refund or exchange a product providing a request is made in writing within 7 days of receipt of goods. Next Flooring reserves the right to refuse part order returns.
N.B. If you wish to return any goods they must be complete, unused, and in "as new" condition.
If you have opened any boxes to examine the product this must have been done without damaging the packaging in any way, as the packaging is specifically designed for the product and is deemed as part of the item. Next Flooring reserves the right to refuse all returns, which fall outside these requirements.
When goods are simply unwanted or unsuitable, and conform to the details above, Next Flooring will refund the customer in full less any direct expenses Next Flooring may have incurred in fulfilling the original agreement.
Direct expenses incurred include any delivery costs whether charged to the customer or not (i.e. FREE Delivery). Deliveries are calculated by weight and delivery location. Please be assured Next Flooring work very closely with all delivery partners to maintain competitive delivery costs at all times.

UK deliveries are charged at £45.00 minimum or £0.44 per kg, whichever the greater.
Scottish deliveries are charged at £65.00 minimum or £0.48 per kg, whichever the greater.

If we are unable to deliver your goods on the arranged delivery date for whatever reason, you will be liable for any additional costs incurred.
Cancellations can be made for a full refund prior to dispatch of goods. All credits will be processed within 30 days.

Next Flooring can offer a premier next day delivery service on all orders to mainland UK addresses. This premier delivery service is available on all stocked orders. However, a surcharge may apply to some Scotland addresses, solid wood flooring and some goods outsourced with the manufacturers. All orders under the £350 threshold will incur a subsidised delivery charge of £29.95 plus vat, exceptions may apply.
Next day deliveries must be placed and funds cleared by 10am. Over holiday periods next day delivery may not be possible.
Deliveries are made to the 'kerb side'. Unfortunately, due to insurance guidelines it is not the courier's responsibility to take goods into your home so please arrange for adequate help at time of delivery.
Flooring deliveries could be made on a lorry or a van. It is assumed that the delivery address will be accessible. If there is likely to be a problem, e.g. the road or area is subject to a vehicle weight or width restriction; please inform us at the time of order.
Deliveries are made from approximately 8.00 am to around 6.00pm. Requests for an estimated time of arrival on the day of delivery are strictly at the courier's discretion. We cannot make a courier contact you to advise delivery times, we can only request this.
If a courier arrives at your address and is unable to deliver on the arranged delivery date because you are not there, or there is inadequate help available, you will be liable for any additional costs incurred. ALL deliveries must be signed for.
Approximate delivery lead times will be advised at the time of order whenever possible. Next Flooring cannot be held responsible for delivery lead time schedules arranged with outside couriers, e.g. special order products dispatched direct from manufacturers.
Next Flooring will do our utmost to avoid any damage by choosing the best couriers available. However, some goods are sent direct from the manufacturer which means we have no jurisdiction over the method of delivery.
In any event please inspect all goods immediately on delivery. For instance, this means opening tubes to check trims and glancing over (but not opening) packs of flooring for visible damage.
If you are unfortunate enough to receive a damaged item, or an item is missing, make sure it is noted on the courier's paperwork. Claims for such damaged or missing items must be made within seven days of the delivery and will only be considered if the courier's paperwork is appropriately noted.
Goods refused on delivery that are found to be undamaged on return to us will incur the return delivery charge where applicable.
No liability can be accepted for costs caused by late deliveries, or for any other reason. Therefore we advise against booking installers until goods have been received in good condition.
We hope you flooring is as expected and without fault. However, it is regrettable that very occasionally this may not be the case and we would like to apologise beforehand.
To avoid unnecessary delays and inconvenience to our customers it is important to complete a few checks before installation of your flooring. If these checks are completed during your installation most faults can be avoided.
It is important to check that each board is flawless before laying them. Next Flooring will not accept any claims for damaged, faulty or mis-described items once the flooring has been installed, as once installed such use or installation shall be taken as conclusive evidence the buyer has accepted that the goods are in perfect condition.
It is important that the customer checks all manufacturers specification details for suitability of purpose. It is concluded that the customer must accept full responsibility for the suitability of the goods ordered for the purpose to which they are put once the product has been installed.
If you are unfortunate enough to notice a fault in the product before installation it is requested that it is returned to us. Please see our returns policy for details of how to action this procedure. Once the goods have been returned, and confirmation has been given that there is a valid claim, a full replacement will arranged for the goods or a full refund made for those faulty goods if required. Also, if the claim is valid, a full credit is raised for the cost incurred by the customer for the return of the items (customer's courier receipt required).
If, after installation, you are unfortunate enough for the product to develop a fault arising from manufacture you may be able to make a claim. However, Next Flooring uses an independent arbitrator to assess all such claims. If you wish to proceed with an inspection Next Flooring reserves the right to charge the cost of inspection at a rate of £80.00 plus VAT. If the inspection shows that the complaint is caused by a manufacturing fault said charge will be refunded.
Next Flooring aims to operate in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We do not supply customer information to third parties. We will only use your email address to contact you in relation to an enquiry you have made; in the event that a problem arises; for administrative purposes or operational reasons relating to our service. We may occasionally email you with details of new services or offers.
You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will correct them promptly or delete you from our database.
